This is the time when everything your new beau does or says is just dreamy. This is also the time when you annoy the crap out of people.
Now trying having that relationship in front of the world.
If you’ve been living under a rock these past few months, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs is dating the Taylor Swift.
And the Swifties are totally on board.
As well as the NFL. Who milks every moment they have of Taylor to the bone.
There has been a noticeable shift in the focus of football, we seem to no longer care if it’s first down or interception. We are more worried about the level of support Taylor is showing Travis or if Travis is looking up at the VIP box wishing he was there with her instead of on the field.
I must ask: are we still in high school?

For anyone who is a fan of football, this is the last thing you want to focus on. You want the excitement of knowing that your team is going to the playoffs and then hopefully the Super Bowl.
You want the supsense, the drama not the gossip.
The head cheerleader is totally dating the football star! OMG OMG!!!
Regardless of how feel about other people’s relationships, this is a lesson we can all learn from. Our interest in other people’s relationships, famous or not is sort of unhealthy.
We put too much investment into who did what or why didn’t they propose etc.
I suggest developing a harmonious balance between your connection with celebrities and your own life.
It is so much fun to speculate and feel a part of the relationship. I for one am so on Kravis bandwagon! (Kourtney Kardashian-Barker and Travis Barker), however, my life isn’t run by their relationship.
Sure I love seeing how sweet he is to her, and I love that she finally found someone she wanted to marry, but that is where the boundary lies.
I find that to maintain a healthy balance it is necessary to remember there should be separation.
Meaning, turn off the E channel and put on more Hallmark.
At the end of the day their relationship is none of our business, and while it is fun to have the “insights” into the goings on it is much better to be absorbed in the good things going on in your own life.
However small! Perhaps you finally finished War and Peace! Bravo, I’m still working my way through that, and it’s been a few years. Even if you’re not in a relationship there are still good things to be found.
Maybe you made an amazing meal or delicious cooks. Accomplishments big or small are wins in my book, and you should count them too.
I suggest putting as much emphasis as you do on celebrity lives on your own. The focus should be on you, so live your best life.
Until next time
